Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in assigned clinical units with precision and compassion
- Adhere to facility protocols, JCAHO standards, and state nursing regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems
- Manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining exceptional patient satisfaction scores
- Participate in unit-specific orientation and skill competency validations
- Respond rapidly to emergent situations with critical thinking and clinical expertise
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California or compact state with quick licensure process
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area (ICU/ER preferred)
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; PALS/NRP beneficial for specialty roles
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to new environments and electronic health records
- Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity in diverse settings
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
