Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient needs using standardized triage protocols
- Provide initial medical advice and interventions in emergency situations
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure timely patient flow
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Monitor vital signs and escalate critical cases appropriately
- Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication and de-escalation abilities
- Experience with Epic or EHR systems
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
