Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AI ethics, neurotech) with commercial viability
- Architect scalable innovation frameworks for product development teams
- Facilitate C-level strategy sessions on future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation portfolio with ROI tracking
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford AI on forward-looking research
- Pioneer ethical frameworks for 2026 technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with proven 5+ year horizon planning
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or blockchain)
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology/Innovation with published thought leadership
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Deep familiarity with Gartner Hype Cycle and Toffler's Future Shock principles
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 2020-2025 technology predictions
- Certified in Futures Thinking (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Go preferred)
