- Secure and manage federal/state innovation grants ($5M+ annual target) for emerging technology initiatives
- Develop market entry strategies for disruptive technologies with 18-24 month commercialization horizons
- Present technology vision to C-suite executives and board members with ROI-driven impact analysis
- Establish partnerships with national labs and academic institutions for cutting-edge R&D
- Mentor technical teams in emerging standards (ISO/IEC 24027, IEEE P2813) and ethical AI frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain)
- Proven track record securing $3M+ in innovation grants or venture funding for tech ventures
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning) and scenario planning
- Deep knowledge of post-quantum cryptography standards and NIST IR 8105 framework
- Experience leading technical teams through commercialization of emerging tech products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology Innovation (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE/ACM journals on future technology paradigms
