Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify 2026+ disruptive opportunities across 15+ industries
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for climate adaptation and AI governance
- Lead cross-functional sprints prototyping quantum-resistant systems and bio-integrated interfaces
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Author white papers on synthetic biology convergence and decentralized autonomous organizations
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists and innovation designers using agile methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Published work in peer-reviewed futurism journals or MIT Technology Review
- Expertise in systems thinking, complexity theory, and scenario modeling
- Proficiency in Python/R for trend analysis and network mapping tools
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Track record influencing policy at national/international innovation summits
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ commercialized 2025+ technology forecasts
