Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic foresight roadmaps targeting 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential (quantum, synthetic biology, neural interfaces)
- Design scenario-planning models for global megatrends (climate adaptation, demographic shifts)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and national innovation labs
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successful technology commercialization
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and Delphi techniques
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Experience developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong data visualization and communication skills for executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
