Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying breakthrough opportunities in emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of future-focused projects from ideation to market launch
- Conduct horizon scanning to detect disruptive trends and competitive threats in the 2025-2030 timeframe
- Architect scalable frameworks for rapid prototyping and validation of next-generation concepts
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite executives and external stakeholders with compelling data narratives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Foster a culture of experimentation through hackathons, innovation labs, and partnerships with academic institutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in product development or innovation leadership with proven track record of launching future-focused technologies
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proficient in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, Delphi technique)
- Experience scaling innovation from concept to global market penetration
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-oriented projects launched within the past 5 years
