Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2026-2030
- Develop multi-generational strategic roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping future-facing solutions
- Deliver executive briefings and trend reports to board members and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and industry disruptors
- Champion ethical frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Mentor next-generation futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record developing 5-10 year strategic scenarios
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Studies)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on transformational change
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent
