- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology foresight frameworks and strategic roadmaps
- Analyze emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable tech
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational vision with future capabilities
- Produce actionable whitepapers and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor internal teams in future-thinking methodologies
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes impacting tech evolution
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of anticipating market disruptions (3+ years ahead)
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic roadmaps
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
