Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts affecting 2026-2030
- Develop data-driven strategic frameworks for exponential growth scenarios
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-state business models and customer experiences
- Present foresight insights to executive leadership and board committees
- Coordinate cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, marketing, and operations
- Author annual 'Future State' reports with actionable recommendations
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or innovation leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and exponential technologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic pivots
- Deep knowledge of AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex futures into stakeholder narratives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
- Experience scaling foresight functions in enterprise environments
