Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data across AI, biotechnology, and climate tech to identify 2026+ opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning models for technological disruptions and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-proof strategies
- Produce whitepapers and frameworks for emerging technology adoption pathways
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions (e.g., neural interfaces, carbon capture AI)
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems for paradigm-shifting breakthroughs
- Advise executive leadership on future-proofing organizational capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend extrapolation methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Experience developing long-term roadmaps for Fortune 500 or scale-up companies
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills for complex future concepts
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioner)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or published thought leadership
