Responsibilities

- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through data-driven proposals and stakeholder presentations
- Manage global consortiums of academic, government, and private sector innovation partners
- Translate futuristic concepts into MVPs using rapid prototyping and agile methodologies
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring human-centered deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation leadership with 3+ years in future-focused roles
- Proven track record scaling moonshot projects from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR)
- PhD or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature Futures, or similar tier-1 journals
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, ARPA-E)
- Fluency in future scenario modeling tools (STELLA, Causal Layered Analysis)
