- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with $10M+ market potential
- Drive patent development and IP portfolio expansion (target: 15+ filings/year)
- Manage innovation sprints with Fortune 500 partners and academic institutions
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor a team of 8+ innovation specialists and researchers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record scaling ventures from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- PhD or equivalent in STEM field or MBA from top-tier institution
- Published research or patents in high-impact journals
- Experience managing $5M+ innovation budgets
- Exceptional strategic communication and stakeholder management skills
- Global network with tech accelerators and venture capital firms
