Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight roadmap through trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market potential
- Produce strategic briefings and investment recommendations for emerging domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI alignment)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to co-develop future-proof solutions
- Present findings to executive leadership and board members with compelling data visualizations
- Mentor junior futurists and build our internal foresight methodology framework
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI ethics, climate tech, neurotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futures journals
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
