Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Develop novel quantum error correction techniques for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at top-tier conferences
- Collaborate with government and industry partners on quantum security standards
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive open-source quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and compiler design
- Strong background in linear algebra, group theory, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with low-level quantum hardware control systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research grants
