Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 market landscapes
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework, integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Deliver executive-level scenario planning workshops to stress-test organizational resilience against future uncertainties
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on emerging paradigms in automation and human-machine collaboration
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight insights into product roadmaps with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Build and mentor a cross-functional futurist task force embedded in key business units
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and industry foresight summits
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI ethics, climate tech adaptation, neurotech convergence, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities with visualization mastery using tools like Tableau or D3.js
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Technology Management, or related field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
- Published author in peer-reviewed foresight journals or industry-leading publications
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., STEEP, Delphi) and trend impact analysis
