Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems deployed in high-stakes industries
- Develop governance protocols for AI decision-making transparency and accountability
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, policymakers, and ethicists
- Conduct risk assessments for AI bias, privacy, and societal impact
- Author industry standards for ethical AI deployment by 2026
- Advocate for ethical AI principles at regulatory and policy forums
- Mentor a team of AI ethics specialists and researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years in AI governance, responsible AI, or ethics compliance
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Published work on AI ethics or technology governance
- Experience with bias mitigation and fairness algorithms
- Deep understanding of autonomous system vulnerabilities
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
