Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for generative AI systems
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering and legal teams
- Design audit trails for autonomous decision-making systems
- Create stakeholder communication materials on AI governance policies
- Monitor global regulatory developments and advise on compliance strategies
- Mentor junior engineers on ethical AI development practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or tech ethics roles
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques for machine learning models
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- Experience with regulatory bodies (FTC, EASA, or equivalent)
- Published work on AI ethics or contributed to open-source governance tools
- Strong understanding of quantum computing's ethical implications
- Professional certifications in AI ethics (e.g., IBM AI Ethics Certificate)
