Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable ethical governance frameworks for AI systems deployed in high-impact domains (healthcare, finance, autonomous systems)
- Lead cross-functional ethics audits and risk assessments for emerging AI technologies, anticipating 2026 regulatory landscapes
- Develop adaptive ethical guidelines for generative AI, deepfakes, and neural interface technologies
- Collaborate with product teams to embed 'ethics by design' principles in development lifecycles
- Establish industry-first ethical benchmarks for AI fairness, transparency, and accountability
- Represent Nexus Innovations at global AI ethics forums and policy summits
- Mentor ethics task forces and create company-wide ethical AI training programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Cognitive Science, or AI/ML with demonstrated research in applied ethics
- 5+ years developing AI governance frameworks for enterprise or regulatory environments
- Expertise in emerging AI risks (bias mitigation, existential safety, digital rights)
- Published work in top-tier ethics or AI journals with 50+ citations
- Experience working with IEEE, EU AI Act, or NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical principles into technical requirements
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders (engineers, policymakers, public)
- Portfolio of implemented ethical AI solutions in regulated industries
