Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Develop error-correction frameworks to overcome quantum decoherence limitations
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with defense and healthcare partners to solve real-world quantum applications
- Mentor PhD candidates and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and circuit optimization
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Strong background in linear algebra, topology, and quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ) or simulation frameworks
