Responsibilities
- Lead cutting-edge research in generative AI architectures and quantum machine learning models
- Develop novel algorithms for quantum-enhanced neural networks with 100+ qubit scalability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize AI-quantum co-processing pipelines
- Publish 3+ high-impact research papers annually in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, QIP)
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into production-ready AI systems with <5ms latency
- Mentor PhD researchers and lead cross-functional innovation sprints
- Secure $2M+ in government/industry grants for frontier research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top AI/quantum journals (h-index >15)
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with distributed training on 1000+ GPU/quantum hybrid systems
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant algorithms
- Demonstrated ability to secure SBIR grants or industry research funding
