Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed nurse practitioners.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions, ensuring documentation is accurate and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and disease management.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment in accordance with hospital policies and safety regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or Compact State.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience (Med-Surg, ICU, Telemetry, or ER preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and high patient volume.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
