Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Administer medication as prescribed and track medication schedules accurately.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and community activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) is preferred but not always required for entry-level roles.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, and move for extended periods.
