Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting support.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs accurately.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe living environment.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social events.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification is a plus but not always required.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to care for others.
