We are looking for individuals who are patient, reliable, and committed to providing the highest standard of in-home care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Offer emotional support, companionship, and engage clients in social activities.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social events.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or family.
- Assist with mobility issues, including transferring patients to and from bed or wheelchair.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA or PCA certification preferred (but willing to train qualified candidates).
- Valid New York State Driver's License and reliable personal transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
