Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure clients' comfort and hygiene.
- Monitor and report any changes in a client's physical or emotional condition to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding clients who require special dietary support.
- Drive clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities (Companion Driver role available).
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and running errands as assigned.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and hobbies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification is a plus but not always required for entry-level.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (if driving clients is required).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients as needed.
