Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Provide compassionate support with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Medication Management: Administer medication reminders and assist clients with their daily medication schedules as directed.
- Companionship: Engage clients in meaningful conversations, hobbies, and social activities to combat loneliness and improve mental well-being.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals tailored to specific dietary needs and preferences.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients, including light laundry and tidying.
- Transportation Services: Drive clients to and from medical appointments, social events, and shopping trips.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Monitor and report any changes in the client's health status or behavior to the care coordinator.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License & Vehicle: Must have access to a reliable vehicle for client transportation.
- CPR & First Aid Certification: Current certification is preferred; we offer training for qualified candidates.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- High School Diploma: Minimum educational requirement.
- Emotional Intelligence: A genuine passion for helping the elderly or disabled with a patient and caring demeanor.
