Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' quality of life.
- Administer medication reminders and track daily health logs accurately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist residents during meal times.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean living environment.
- Monitor residents for changes in health status and report concerns to nursing staff immediately.
- Plan and lead recreational activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Must demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others.
