Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming with dignity and respect.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and light exercise to ensure safety and comfort.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while adhering to specific dietary requirements.
- Administer medication and document care logs accurately and in a timely manner.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks as assigned by the client or family.
- Communicate effectively with family members and medical professionals regarding the client's status.
Qualifications
- CNA or HHA certification is highly preferred but not required for immediate consideration.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Physical stamina to perform daily care tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
