Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene to ensure their comfort and dignity.
- Medication Management: Provide timely medication reminders and assist with daily health routines as directed.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious, appetizing meals tailored to the client's dietary needs.
- Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations, activities, and outings to reduce isolation and improve quality of life.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light cleaning, laundry, and errands to maintain a safe and organized living environment.
- Mobility Support: Assist with walking, transfers, and transportation to appointments or social events.
Qualifications
- License & Background: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of a state-approved caregiver training program is a plus.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist clients up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
