Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Companionship: Build meaningful relationships by engaging in conversation, playing games, and accompanying clients on outings.
- Household Support: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning to ensure a safe living environment.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and report any changes in health or behavior to the supervisor.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with clients, families, and the care management team regarding daily updates and care plans.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not always required.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR/First Aid: Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- Compassion: Genuine patience, empathy, and a strong desire to help others.
- Reliability: Ability to maintain a consistent schedule and punctuality.
