Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management as directed by nurses.
- Offer companionship and engage in social activities to improve the client's quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing to maintain a safe environment.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the care coordinator immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, or Caregiver preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with seniors from diverse backgrounds.
- Passion for caregiving and a patient, kind demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
