About the Role
As a Caregiver, you will provide essential personal care and companionship to clients in the comfort of their own homes. Your dedication will directly improve the quality of life for our elderly and disabled residents in the Austin area.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide medication reminders and report any changes in health to the supervising nurse.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce isolation.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification (we provide training if you don't have it).
- Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Experience in home care or healthcare is a plus but not mandatory.
