Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Assist with mobility, transferring, and walking using proper techniques and equipment.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders and track patient health status.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Document daily care logs and communicate changes in condition to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred but not required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Clean criminal record and good moral character.
