Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to promote mental well-being.
- Administer medication reminders and accurately document daily care logs.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry services as requested by clients or families.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and community outings.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or manager immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (CNA, PCA, or RN certification is a plus).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required for client travel).
- CPR and Basic First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
