Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Assist with medication reminders and tracking as directed by the client’s care plan.
- Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversation and social activities to reduce loneliness and improve mental well-being.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social events.
- Observation: Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to our nursing team immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA, HHA, or Caregiver is preferred but not required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- License: Current CNA license is a plus, but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
- Driving: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Genuine empathy and patience are essential traits.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
