Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and transportation to medical appointments.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
- Document care activities and maintain accurate records in our electronic health system.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification is a plus but not strictly required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine, patient demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes.
