Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure client hygiene and comfort.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
- Administer medication reminders and track daily intake logs accurately.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for seniors and patients.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties related to client care.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or social events as needed.
- Document daily activities and any changes in the client's condition in accordance with care plans.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle required.
- CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients weighing up to 250 lbs safely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
