Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and improve mental well-being.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to the supervising nurse or family.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
- Administer medication reminders and document daily logs accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training provided if needed).
- Valid Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience as a caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide is a plus but not mandatory.
