Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals while accommodating special dietary needs
- Monitor vital signs and document health changes accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and prescribed exercises
- Manage medication reminders and assist with self-administration
- Light housekeeping tasks and grocery shopping as needed
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate with care coordinators
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health aide experience
- Current California HHA certification and CPR/First Aid
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
- Compassionate demeanor with patience for elderly/disabled care
- Reliable transportation for client visits
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
