Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
- Administer medication reminders and document client health status accurately.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, and errands.
- Monitor client well-being and report any changes or concerns to the Care Manager immediately.
- Offer emotional support and act as a positive role model for clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle required.
- Previous experience as a CNA, HHA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not mandatory.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different care needs.
