Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinators
- Administer medications and assist with medical equipment
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Maintain detailed care records and client preferences
- Implement personalized care plans with attention to individual needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional caregiving experience
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English/Spanish
- Empathetic personality with patience and cultural sensitivity
