Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes in condition or concerns to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping to ensure a safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social activities, and community outings.
- Administer medication reminders as directed and per state regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Willingness to complete our comprehensive, paid caregiver training program.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor with a strong desire to help others.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
