Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal preparation for those with dietary restrictions.
- Provide medication reminders and accurately document care logs.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to ensure a safe living environment.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating conversations and activities.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and social outings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly preferred.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping seniors.
