Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Provide medication reminders and document patient intake accurately.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and recreational activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Monitor and report any changes in a client's physical or mental condition to the supervising nurse or manager.
Qualifications
- Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) license preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
