Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide medication reminders and ensure clients take medications as prescribed.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, and social activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the care coordinator.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe, clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (we can provide training if needed).
- A genuine passion for helping seniors and individuals with special needs.
