Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Assist clients with mobility and transferring in and out of beds or chairs.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Manage medication reminders and ensure clients adhere to their treatment plans.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks related to client care.
- Document daily activities and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a plus but not required.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
