Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Administer medication and track health records in accordance with care plans.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, and recreational activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the supervisor.
- Document daily activities and care provided accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience as a home health aide or personal care assistant is highly valued.
- Compassionate demeanor with a patient and respectful attitude.
