Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring the client's dignity and comfort.
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition or medication side effects to the supervising nurse.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and recreational activities.
- Manage medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed care plans.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with seniors.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality.
- Previous experience in home health care or the hospitality industry is a plus.
