Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support, conversation, and engage clients in recreational activities to reduce loneliness.
- Household Management: Prepare nutritious meals, assist with light housekeeping, and help with laundry.
- Medication Reminders: Prompt clients to take medication at scheduled times and document adherence accurately.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, grocery stores, or social outings as required.
- Health Monitoring: Observe changes in client behavior or health and report them immediately to the nursing supervisor.
- Crisis Management: Follow protocol during emergencies to ensure client safety and well-being.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Train: No prior healthcare experience necessary; we provide all training.
- Valid Driverβs License: Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical Ability: Must be physically capable of lifting, bending, and assisting patients up to 50 lbs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to listen actively.
- Reliability: A history of punctuality and dependability is required.
- Basic Computer Skills: Ability to use a tablet or computer for documentation purposes.
